Zwaply Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Zwaply Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to go thru Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures?
Ideally, no. But under certain circumstances (for instance using untraceable currencies, we got some information about stolen funds, etc.) it might be needed. We set some parameters that might trigger the procedure.

The list of special circumstances keeps being updated all the time, so we do not need all your users to go through KYC procedure.

How does Zwaply calculates the exchange rate?
Please check the Rate section.

What coins can I exchange using Zwaply?
At the moment you can exchange close to 100 crypto currencies. We’re working hard to add more. It includes most of the largest ones, and lots of others. At Zwaply you can exchange: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS, Dash, List, Ethereum Classic, NEM, Steem, Augur, Ardor, BNB, Stratis, NAV, Zcash, Golem, Gnosis, Decred, Bancor, Civic, 0x, Aragon, Monaco, Omisego, Storj, Verge, and many more.

Because we add more almost every day, and things in crypto change fast, the best way to see if we exchange it is by asking a swap to the bot 🙂

The amount of coins I got is not exactly what I was quoted. Why?
Please check the Rate section.

In what platforms can I access Zwaply?
Right now, Zwaply is available on Twitter and Telegram. And soon we’ll be adding Messenger, WhatsApp, and Slack.

If you’re not accessing Zwaply via a mobile device, you can always exchange crypto currencies on our website Zwaply.com

Are you going to develop an app?
Not really. Because we aim at being the simplest solution to exchange crypto, we believe forcing you to download yet another app, is not necessary. We believe it’s better for you to exchange cryptos using the communication apps you use the most during the day.

I have a problem with a transaction, how can I reach out to you?
Please check the Help section.

How do I cancel a transaction?
Unfortunately, all blockchain operations are irreversible. If you already sent the funds, nobody can cancel your transaction (that’s one of the beauties of blockchains and crypto assets). Make sure you provide us with the right currency wallet address, and you double check the amount you send our way.

If you didn’t send the funds, don’t worry about the transaction, it’ll be automatically canceled.

Why don’t you display more decimals?
We decided, just for visualization purposes, to show you figures of maximum 6 decimals. We could’ve picked any other number, really, but thinking in terms of Bitcoin, we believe that’s enough.

Bear in mind if you take a crypto currency of smaller value than BTC, ETH for instance, at current level of $200, more decimals than 6 would mean you’re talking about $0.0000002 US Dollars. In our daily lives, everything that’s in the cents category we don’t pay much attention to.
